My favorite airport fashion looks of all time

Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing well amid everything that is going on with the virus, please remember to self isolate not only for your health but for others safety, stay hydrated and don’t spread panic.

I had a few things planned for this week’s post but with everything happening I just don’t have the motivation to do any of it sadly. So I decided that for this week’s post I will be talking about my all time favorite airport fashion looks because it’s kinda feel-good, simple and always fun. I will also be sharing some videos of the QQ twins (Q2Han) because they have a great series where they imitate some of these looks in a budget and they are very fun and always make you laugh.

#1. Yoongi in THIS look.

This look is so simple and most of his fashion choices are like that but the way he lives in those clothes are what makes this such a GREAT look. The nation’s emo boy.

#2. Hoseok and his aesthetic.

I could not imagine anyone else wearing Hobi’s style for me it’s so unique and very him, I absolutely love it.

#3. Jennie’s high fashion looks.

I always live for her style because she just radiates high fashion and class everywhere. She can make anything look expensive.

#4. Taeyong’s perfect fashion sense.

This is another great example of an artist that can make everything look amazing. He knows what fits him best and always impresses us with his fashion choices.

#5. IU is always so chic.

I just adore how simple and delicate her outfits are and how great they look on her. She makes the airport her runway.

Weekly Blog: February Favorites

Hey guys! For our fist official blog post I decided to do a monthly favorite about k-pop music. It’s not strictly going to be new music that came out this past month but everything I have been hearing about. I will also be talking about why I have been enjoying them and my favorite lyric of the song. I will also be doing a category for music videos I have non stop streaming. All the music and videos will be linked so you can listen to them too if you desire.

  • Psycho by Red Velvet:

Who doesn’t enjoy their videos and music? Like let’s talk for real….Red Velvet never disappoints with their concepts or performances. This music video was really well made, the outfits were beautiful and the song was the bomb. The gave it their all like always and looked stunning.

  • So What by Loona

I’ll be honest here, I was not instantly obsessed with this song when it first came out but I did love the visuals so I watched it again and now I can’t stop playing it. I had been waiting for a Loona comeback for ages and I’m so happy they’re finally back!

  • Ego by BTS (J-Hope Solo)

PEOPLE! February was HARD! and some Hoseok was all we needed. Hobi’s signature colorful and happy style was all over this video which just made feel good and motivated for anything. As always the song was amazing and the song was an absolute BOP!

  • Shadow – BTS (Suga’s Solo)

Yoongi did NOT have to go that hard on us!! When I fist saw this video I was blown away and overwhelmed. You see I’m a Yoongi bias so I was a hell of a mess because of the lyrics, beats and messages it all had. To this day I see this video at least twice as a day to cleanse myself.

  • Black Swan (BOTH VERSIONS) by BTS

Having two versions of this song and music video is such a blessing. As an ex ballet dancer this song just hits my heart so hard and makes me even nostalgic. BTS elevates the standards so hard and they just made pure art here. I love absolutely everything about it. *chef kiss*

  • Kick It! by NCT 127

I really enjoyed Kick It and absolutely loved how the boys looked here and how they performed and the song was GREAT, also they also look so grown!? wowie. The only thing that bothers me is that WinWin isn’t there and it’s a Chinese concept/ aesthetic but that’s SM’s fault.

Este canal es perfecto para ese thrifting inspo, además hace lookbooks para cada ocasión. Ashley (la mucha del canal de YouTube) también hace videos de “girl talks o big sister advice” de cosas que aveces todos necesitamos en nuestras vidas mientras te hace reír con su sentido del humor único.

William Verbeeck es un joven adulto que habla mayormente sobre la fotografía análoga y los procesos de revelado y ampliación de las mismas. Tira fotos a color espectaculares de mayormente el área de New York. También da muy buenos consejos para fotografiar y al momento de publicar las fotos.

 Esta cuenta de Instagram trata sobre fotografía y es como una revista virtual. Su propósito es exponer a talentos nuevos en el mundo de la fotografía. Mayormente exponen fotoensayos y entrevistas. Todas las semanas hay un fotógrafo nuevo encargado de la cuenta que habla sobre su trabajo.

Photo Cinematica es otra revista virtual que publica trabajo de fotógrafos nuevos para descubrirlos. El concepto a este revista a diferencia de la otra es que esta publica fotos con un looks más de cinema y dramático como implica el nombre.

Ziqian Liu es una fotografa de china. Su fotografía se caracteriza por ser autorretratos con luz natural y ese look de minimalista. La composición de sus fotos son espectaculares y me inspira mucho.

Esa misma familia decide esconder a un judío que escribe cuentos y la niña y el forman una amistad.

Puerto Rico Mio es un colección de fotografías de Puerto Rico por el increíble fotógrafo Jack Delano, el cual llegó a la isla para documentar la pobreza en Puerto Rico pero que terminó viviendo en Puerto Rico con su esposa porque se enamoró del espíritu de las personas. Las fotos son desde los años cuarenta hasta los ochenta y nos enseña cuánto Puerto Rico ha evolucionado a través de los años

Age of Youth o “Hello My Twenties” es un K-drama que se centra en la vida de cinco universitarias que viven juntas en una casa llamada “Belle Époque”. La serie me gusta mucho porque tiene sus misterios pero también tienen esos momentos bien “cheesy” que te hacen reir. También la serie toca situaciones muy actuales en nuestra sociedad que la hace un poco más seria pero muy buena.

Kiki’s Delivery Service es perfecta  para un “rainy day” con tus amistades o un solo date. Trata sobre una joven brujita que le toca irse de su casa para comenzar su entrenamiento como bruja. Como le toca vivir sola decide hacer un servicio de “delivery” para hacer un poco dinero y pues la película es de sus aventuras y cómo se adapta en la nueva ciudad. Es bien “feel good” y no importa cuantas veces la vea me sigue gustando igual.

Class summary for  27/ Feb/ 2020

    Last Thursday in class we talked about how searching on the Internet works. We learnt that Google works with a master index that stores the websites that have been most referenced and that it constantly searches the greater web to update its’ index. So basically Google does not do “real time searching” of the web it is searching sites in its index. This means that when you search something up it is pulling information from its master index. Google also gathers information from the area where you use Google and caters its searches to you specifically, to add it also stores your computer info like browse history. Google searches for what is most important to you. We also talked in class about where Google finds their funding. Google does make funding with their premium features but it is not what made them so successful. What made them successful was their business of selling private information. Being an information provider was their greatest success.  Selling that info has changed how publicity and commercials work for ever, by selling that info companies cater to you only commercials of things you are interested in. One moment you can be looking at shoes and the next you know there’s at least one shoe commercial on every web site you visit. Lastly we finished talking about how google has expanded and that it now has google translate, currency change, weather, calculator, google maps and many other exciting things.

We also learned about how Google keeps making new inventions to help us do our daily routines even faster and save some time. You can even make an appointment by using Google without even having to write it. By just using your voice you can tell Google to get you an appointment and Google would even call the place to settle the appointment. It’s unbelievable. Not only does it make appointments but it also can reserve tables at restaurants and make food delivery orders by calling the restaurant for you. Another great thing Google has is a feature in which you can use your camera to translate texts, signs, etc. Google also has an amazing maps system which shows you the view in different ways like satelite, which shows you all the streets, traffic, alternate routes. It also shows places near the location you’re looking for, even places near where you are located at the moment. It has a little person that you can drop at the location and it will show you the street view as if you were there. It gives you the routes and how long it takes you to get there whether you go by airplane, car, bicycle or walking. The internet and technology gets even more creative in a way that can be beneficial for all of us in a way.

La Web y Yo: Mi Percepción y uso del la Internet y la Web (My Perception of the Internet)

       We now live in a new age, the age of the internet. Technology has become
present and common in everyone’s lives including my own. I for example spend an
average of around six hours daily on the internet, that time is used to promote
my photography work or to use it to waste countless hours on TikTok learning
funny dances or most often I’m on my fan page on twitter texting to my
international friends. The Internet has given so much knowledge and power, it
has gifted me so many things and opened my eyes to so many new worlds,
cultures, music, people and world problems. In many ways I would even dare to
say that the Internet has even help shape who I am today. Generally speaking
though, I would say that even though my life revolves around a lot on the
Internet and technology I’m not obsessed with it. I have my limits so I can try
and spend my time on other things too and live a relatively “balanced” and
productive life. My day to day life depends a lot on it since I’m a photography
mayor in University. That makes me think though… how much would my life
change or be affected if I didn’t have access to the internet for a day.

     I would say that if one day the Internet didn’t work for me, my day would be
somewhat affected but not ruined or “over” like many would think. For me the
Internet is a tool, or a pass time and I live by that every day. So, going back
to the premise of what I would do if I didn’t have Internet well, I would
search for other alternatives so I can get my work done for the time being.
Because if people could do their work done without the internet a few decades
back I can too, at least that’s my opinion. The thing that would affect me the
most is that I would not be able to have that connection with my international
friends. I know how that must sound to most people; many are very warry about
making friends online but at least in my experience it has been one of the best
things that could happen in my life. I have met the kindest and most beautiful
at heart, they have been there when no one else can as I have been with them
too. I have created quite a bond with them so if by some circumstance I would
not be able to communicate with them for a long time I would most likely be really
upset, the worst would be that I would not be able to find another way to talk
to them since I don’t have an address I can write them to or something of the
sort. But what is most important though is that I would not forget about the
amazing memories I’ve had with them. I would cherish every memory.

     We cannot deny the impact that the Internet has had in our society and how
it will mold the future for generations to come. I would recommend to everyone
that they get similar experience so they can get more tools in life, so that they’re
more exposed to different cultures, music, and global problems. With more
educated people we would have a more educated society. A society who looks out
for each other. And while I would foment the importance of what the Internet gives
us, we most too show new generations to use the Web very carefully. We must show
them too how to live a balanced life where they feel like they are the owners
of their life and that they know how to function or go a day without the help
of the Internet. So, the most important thing that I can teach others is
balance, because the Internet is a gift and a heavy blessing to have. At least that is my perception of the use of the Internet and Web.

Hope you enjoyed my first blog entry! It is not about k-pop but it is about my views of the Internet, my relationship with it and how I think it will influence us somewhere in the future.

Sooo…that’s me last year when I went to New York to see BTS. It was one of the best experiences and wish every ARMY gets to go. Sadly this year I wont be able to attend tour but I hope one day I can be part of that purple ocean again.

Like I mentioned briefly before I’m university student, I study Photography at La Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, this blog is part of one my classes. I take Inf 103.
